We are looking for laboratory, optical and precision equipment for a single stretched wire system
Who?
Client: FAIR - Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH
Contact: proekf32@gsi.de
What?
Project: Delivery of a high-precision motion system for a single stretched wire measurement system to qualify the magnetic field parameters of superconducting quadrupole units for the SIS100 synchrotron.
Service Description: The motion system must allow controlled movement of a stretched wire through the magnetic field to collect measurement data. Requirements include:
Movement range: 150-300 mm
Movement accuracy: better than ±2 µm
Bidirectional repeatability: ±0.2 µm
Integrated linear encoder
Straightness/flatness: ±3 µm
Angular error in pitch and yaw: ±50 µrad
Motion controller for 5 axes, programmable with C++
