Our newly developed liquid crystal phase shifter technology enables the functionality of cost- and energy-efficient reconfigurable intelligent antenna systems and surfaces. With this compact phase shifter, electromagnetic signals can be dynamically - focused on targets by antenna systems over long distances - directed around obstacles in a targeted and flexible manner by intelligent surfaces
