Greentech.Ruhr | Transformative Strukturpolitik im Ruhrgebiet – Die richtigen Impulse setzen
The Ruhr region stands for successful structural change and a strong environmental economy. However, these processes must be steadily continued
.
What impulses must be set in structural policy in order to further advance climate and resource protection in the Ruhr region and to achieve the climate protection goals of the state government? What can the respective actors contribute to this? Where can and should subsidies be used in a targeted manner?
On these questions, Greentech.Ruhr discusses with
- Ursula Heinen-Esser, Minister for the Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia,
- Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Christoph M. Schmidt, President of RWI - Leibnitz Institute for Economic Research and until 2020 Chairman of the German Council of Economic Experts
.
- Prof. Dr. Julia Frohne, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Business Metropole Ruhr GmbH
In this digital event, Environment Minister Ursula Heinen-Esser will address, among other things, the contribution that European structural funding through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) can make to structural change in the Ruhr region toward a sustainable society. In addition, perspectives and future priorities of ERDF funding will be presented.
